Welcome to the Colden Trail Riders
In the snow capital of Western New York
The Colden Trail Riders are a devoted group of volunteer snowmobile enthusiasts dedicated to the promotion of our sport. We are responsible for the design, maintenance and grooming of over 30 miles of snowmobile trails in the Colden, NY area. Our trail system encompasses Colden; along with portions of Boston, Sardinia, Holland, and Concord.
Our Trails
Our trail system is on state trails C4, C4A C4E, S49A, S49B, S49C, S45B & S45D, which provides access to many other trail systems in the area. Club members volunteer their time to build, clear & mark trails in the Fall, groom trails in the Winter and take down all the signs in the Spring. Without the time and energy of volunteer club members, the sport of snowmobiling would not be what it is today.
Grooming
Currently the Colden Trail Riders have several pieces of snow grooming equipment to maintain its trails. Plans exist for trail expansion and future equipment purchases to improve riding conditions within our system.
Membership
The Colden Trail Riders meet monthly on the second Thursday of the month, September through April, at The Old Orchard Inn, 2095 Blakeley Corners Road, East Aurora, NY 14052. General meeting time is 7:00 pm.
Membership dues are $35 per year and membership applications can be obtained at the meeting or online. With membership, you become an automatic member in the New York State Snowmobile Association, which entitles you to receive the official publication, NYSSA Magazine, to keep you up to date with happenings around the state.
